For several weeks when Anne was recovering from Chemo and was with her parents in Blacksburg, I spent time with her and her mother painting! Jean had asked me to come teach. The sessions were so wonderful, I believe for all three of us! There was no doubt that Anne had talent yet her inner beauty flowed into each watercolor piece she did! I loved her for her willingness to look forward with hope! I thank God that I had those wonderful times with this lovely young woman! Her spirit has touched so many lives! Thank you God for my gift of having her in my heart and soul!

My son had Ms. Gagliano as his 1st grade teacher at CPS. He adored her and still talks to this day (now in 4th grade) how she was one of his favorites! What an amazing impact and blessing she was for so many children and families. We are thinking of the entire family as you both celebrate her and miss her. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We had the pleasure of having Mrs. Gagliano teach our daughter at BE. She was warm and comforting and sharp as a tack; the perfect 1st grade teacher. Our heart and thoughts go out to her family. She will be dearly missed.

I only met Anne when she was young, but she was an example of a perfect child and the pride and joy of Bill and Jeanne. She was the person that we all want to be. She will be missed.

Deepest sympathies. But I've been thinking - how your wonderful Anne gave life as wife, mother, teacher, daughter. And Christ won eternal life and peace that passes understanding. May these precious gifts sustain you my friends.
