Phalen; mother of Catherine Ann Phalen, Charles Stephen Phalen, Jr., James Matthew Phalen and Dr. Anne Eubanks Phalen; grandmother of Erin Marissa, Aileen Marie and Catherine Anne Phalen, Liam Phalen Moser and Sophia Phalen Moser. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment private. Anne was a wonderful woman. She was always dressed so elegantly, even just to go to the grocery store! I remember the snowflakes she made, her Christmas village, her Christmas tree with all the special ornaments. Anne was a kind and helpful friend and neighbor to my Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with Charles and all of their children and grandchildren.
