ANNE LOUISE POWERS
On Wednesday, April 13, 2011 of Olney, MD, formerly of Parma Heights, OH. Beloved mother of Monica M. Sparber and mother-in-law of Frank A. Sparber; grandmother of Kristina, Daniel and David Sparber; sister of Marie K. Mills of Brunswick, OH and the late Adrienne Buckley of Brook Park, OH. Mrs. Powers was formerly married to Michael (Polivchak) Powers. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD 20832 on Tuesday, April 19, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Missions, www.franciscanmissions.orgwww.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Anne made her profession as a Secular Franciscan (Third Order of St. Francis) in 1983 and lived more the 27 years as a Franciscan. Peace be with her now.

Dear Monica:
I am not sure if you would remember me but I went to school with you. My name was Sharon Nechvatal. My dad and mom knew your mother while she was a member of the St. Bridget's Senior Club.
I had met your mom several times and my parents always liked her so much. They always thought she was so pretty and so sweet.
I lost my mom 3 years ago and it is so hard but please know when someone we love so much is no longer here, it becomes a memory and that memory becomes a treasure and the best way to have a piece of Heaven in your home is to have someoe you love in Heaven.
May you find peace and love in the memories that you hold and cherish.
