ANNIE MEANS DAWKINS
U.S. Navy Veteran Nurse, Devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Annie Means Dawkins 97, of Washington, DC, by way of Griffin, Georgia; was born on April 5, 1916 and passed on August 7, 2013. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Deborah Dawkins Stroman; son, Leroy T. Dawkins, his wife, Laverne Dawkins and her grandchildren, DeJuan Stroman Price and Parris A. Dawkins. She may be viewed Wednesday, August 14, at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 818 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held directly after the viewing. Burial services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) http://www.alzfdn.org.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
