ARTHUR M. KANEKO (Age 99)  LTC, U.S. Army (Ret.)  
On Tuesday, November 8, 2011, Arthur Kaneko of Wheaton, MD. Beloved husband of the late Sophie Ravetta Kaneko; father of Vickie Kaneko, Sharon Bodine (John) and Randy Kaneko (April); grandfather of John Bodine (Tara) and Paul Bodine (Amy). Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 18 at 11 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 3 p.m. (Those wishing to attend, should assemble at the Administration Building no later than 2:30 p.m.) Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

It is with great sadness that we honor the passing of Arthur Kaneko. He was such a warm and friendly man. He was one of the great heros of our time. May he rest in peace. We all will miss you very much.
