BARBARA ANN GRISSETT (Age 91)
On Sunday, July 21, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Grissett; mother of David, Ellen (Bill); grandmother of Ryan (Jackie) and Jodi Grissett; great-grandmother of Elise, Ethan, and Adlee Grissett. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, July 25, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Women's Board at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, 18101 Prince Philip Drive, Olney, Maryland 20832.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Ellen and David...you were so fortunate to have had such a great set of parents. I used to love walking down the hall to visit and hear the stories of their younger days. Your mom was definitely a lady. Heaven is rejoicing now that they are together again.

We will miss Bobbie and our thoughts and prayers go out to Ellen and David. Your Mum and Dad played such a significant role in our lives as we look back.They are together now with Pat and Tom,my Mum Liz and a number of others from the Beach Crowd enjoying Happy Hour and watching out for the rest of us with a caring touch,when needed.
The memories are so strong that they seem like yesterday and you and David should take comfort from Bob and Bobbie's strength and wisdom.Our very best to you both.
