On Friday, June 22, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Marshall E. Lohr; mother of Fritz Naecker, Wesley (Terry) Naecker, Laura (Rich) Roemer and Bekki (Glen) McMakin; grandmother of Dyllan, Jenna, and Paige. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. Sad to hear of Mrs. Lohr passing. My memory growing up in the neighborhood is that Mrs. Naecker(that's how I knew her) was always very nice to all the kids and people enjoyed being around her.

Barbara was a good friend and a kind person. She stuck by my parents no matter how difficult it was at times. She was funny and fun to be with. I know she will be missed by her family but she has many people on the other side waitng to see her again. I am thankful for all the good memories she has left my sisters and I.
