On Saturday, June 11, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late James J. Wilmot, Jr.; mother of Dr. Linda (Mark Baker) Wilmot, Vicky (Steven) Lawler, John (Krista) Wilmot and the late Mary Rachel Wilmot; grandmother of Natalie, James and Kelly Lawler, Rachel and Thomas Baker and Abigail Wilmot. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, June 12, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD 20832 on Monday, June 13 at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Linda, Johnny and Vicky,
I can't even tell you how sorry I am that your mom is gone. Aunt Betty was one of a kind. If there's one thing that sticks out in my mind about her is how funny she was one day when I went over to see her and she was watching Johnny's dogs and they were barking and running all over the house, and the cats were climbing on her. I laughed like crazy when I saw your mom. It was the funniest moment. I'm really going to miss her.
