On Thursday, May 9, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Lorene Weis; father of Carlene E. Harper and Donna Farley; grandfather of Melissa A. Farley and Brendan C. Farley; great-grandfather of Aiden M. Tusing; brother of Mary Corrigan. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Andrew Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Everyone has a favorite uncle & Uncle Carl was mine. He was the closest thing I had to keeping my dad's memory alive. I hope he's enjoying a German beer in heaven with his siblings right now...I can almost hear the laughter right now!

Lynne, Bill, Esther, and I were just recalling this weekend all the fun visits and get togethers through the years in MD and PA and just the joyful peronality, laughter, and stories shared by and with Carl. We are thinking of you and your family at this time and blessings for you all. Love the Koenig's and Phillips'.
