CATHERINE LEONARD KAPP "Kit"
On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD, originally of Brooklyn, NY. Beloved wife of Philip A. Kapp, M.D.; mother of Mary Kapp (John Barrett), Charles P. Kapp, Eileen Kapp (Richard Lee), Nancy Kapp Brown (Chris), Karen Kapp Olmstead (Bruce), Joanne Kapp McGillicuddy (James) and Paul L. Kapp (Patricia). Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I remember that Kit and Phil always made the long trip to Commack for the annual family picnic. Kit loved seeing all the family together and it was such a pleasure to spend time with her.
Kit was a warm and caring person who always thought of others.
My deepest sympathies to Phil, the children and grandchildren.
