CHAD MICHAEL WHITNEY
Chad Whitney, 32,of Gaithersburg, Maryland, beloved son of Michael Whitney of Silver Spring, Maryland and Hope Whitney of Mesa, Arizona, and cherished step-son of Muriel Hesler, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2012. He is survived by his six brothers and sisters, Matthew, Susan, Sanford, Kristen, Erik, and Kimberly; his grandfather, George Matteson; four nephews, one niece, and a large extended family. A graduate of Morgan State University, Chad became a Senior Accountant for Enterprise Car Rental. He was a gifted accountant who pioneered many innovations. Chad was a gentle, loving, and caring young man who touched many lives; the loss is devastating to all who knew him. A service celebrating Chad's life will be planned at a later time. I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your son, Chad. The nuns told us in elementary school that when God calls someone young home, it's because they've earned their reward early. So Chad will be there when it's your turn to show you the ropes on the other side.

My heart goes out to all of Chad's family and friends. I knew him briefly through my son several years ago, and Chad was a kind, compassionate and sweet young man. It is a terrible and senesless loss, but I know he is resting in God's loving arms, and may our God give you comfort and assurance that you will see Chad again. He has risen.
