CHARLES FALVEY Obituary
CHARLES LEWIS FALVEY, SR. (Age 93)
A life-long resident of Washington, died February 9, 2013. Mr. Falvey, a World War II Army veteran who served in the 80th Division, was a Federal careerist with the General Services Administration and the Department of the Navy's Naval Ordnance Laboratory, Silver Spring, MD. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dixie Lee Falvey, his son Charles L. Falvey, Jr., a granddaughter Julie K. Falvey and adopted son Chamroeun Tray. A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Ingleside at Rock Creek Retirement Community, 3050 Military Road, NW, Washington. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Southern Poverty Law Center, 400 Washington Ave., Montgomery, AL 36104.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
