Bridie,

Although I only spent a few moments of a lifetime with Chuck, you and your family, I found you all to be so "Shannon-esque". I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. With loving memories,

To Chuck's family,
Chuck Brader was my supervisor for many years at USDA in the Fruit and Vegetable Division. He was an extremely unique manager. Whenever he called me into his office and invited me to sit on the sofa, I knew it was a serious conversation. We had very few of those conversations, but when we did.....I never left feeling beat up but rather like I had been counseled by someone who truly cared. He was a kind and gentle man. God bless you all.

Bridie,
I met your husband once. He was very kind (and handsome). I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that you have comfort in the fact that he is in a better place with God. Now he can watch over you as your Guardian Angel.
Hugs and blessings,
Janet Barlow

Bridie, Jim, John, and Families,

There are some people that touch our hearts in a special way because they care so much and they listen to us without judgement. They smile all the while when we talk, and make us smile back. Charlie did that, and we will all miss his kind and caring manner. Please know that we care deeply for your loss, and in our own sadness, we are praying for all of you.

Bridie, Jimmy, John, and Other Family Members,

Marie and I share your profound sorrow and shock at this time, regarding the loss of your Husband (Bridie), loving Dad (Jimmy & John), Father-in-law (Sharon & Laura), and Grandfather (Aidan, Leigh Anne, Helena, Donny, and Sean). We are here in Sarasota, FL, and will not be home in time for the Viewing. We arrive back home on Friday, April 8th, late morning. We are SO sorry about that. However, please let us know the date of the Memorial Service, when that is set. We will miss seeing "Chuck," as we affectionately knew him, meticulously manicuring the Flower Beds, Bushes, Trees and Lawn. and his warm smile and wave as he would leave the neighborhood to go to Church Services or run errands, I, Bill, will personally miss my impromptu chats with him, whenever both of us were out there, and had the time to do that. You all have been "our" neighbors and friends for just over 39 years. Watching Jimmy & John growing up, graduating high school with our daughters, getting married and becoming parents has be among the many pleasurable memories that we will cherish forever. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you ALL.

Abrazos,

Hubert and Grace and Family

To My Cousin's Family,
Charlie was more than a relative of mine, he was a true friend. He was friendly but stern, smart but humble, conservative but compassionate.
As we were growing up, we shared many of the same passions - starting with cub scouts, boy scouts, 4-H and Sunday School. You could count on the two of us being there.
We are going to miss his trips to the farm!
Bridie, our thoughts and sympathy are with you.
