CHARLES TELEKI (Age 82)
Born May 11, 1930 and passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 2, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD after a long battle with illness. Beloved husband of Katalin Teleki; father of daugthers Gemma Teleki-Revay, Eva Ibolya Sofillas, Christina S. Miller, and son Istvan K. Teleki. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and seven siblings. Involved in the space science programs during his career with NASA, including space shuttle and landsat design and development. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, August 6, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment at Berkeley Springs, WV at a later date. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I do miss him & think of NASA trip times & other times with him. Was thinking abt him a few days ago. Our Thermal first cut at a possible problem or not! Good talking to Katalin Teleki abt 2 yrs ago to find him post retirement for both of us.

I have been lookig for Charles on Internet for several years. Unfortunately I just found him!We worked together for years on TDRSS project & spent much time together including California & Florida trips. I was the one that got a trip to a shuttle launch for both he & wife from my putting him in for a Silver Snoopy! I think of Charles & how he would bring back toys for his son after a trip we made. Dick Bolt in Swanton MD retired NASA Engr.
