Not sure what to say?

January 17, 2012

On behalf of my mother and all our family, thank you all for your condolences.

Dear Weithoner Family:

My father, Paul K. Bohr, worked with Gene for many years at the Federal Aviation Administration. Although Dad has been retired since 1990, Gene's name was always recognizable to me as one of Dad's great friends. Dad still speaks fondly of, and recounts many stories about, him. My Dad (who is not on the internet) asked me to relay his sincerest condolences. He wanted me to tell you that he will always remember Gene as a true friend and professional, "one of the real class acts" in their profession. Gene and your entire family are in the thoughts and prayers of the Bohr family.

Sincerely yours,
Paul J. Bohr

Dear Betty and Family...

We were so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was such a kind and wonderful man. He and our Dad, Ed Curran, worked closely together (and commuted together) for so many years we almost felt like he was a part of the family. I know our Dad held him in the greatest esteem and we were all touched by his kind words at Dad's funeral. We are thinking of you at this very sad time.

Dear Betty and Family
I was so saddened to hear of Gene's passing. He was such a dear friend of more than 40 years and will be sorely missed by myself and the rest of the DOT luncheon group. He was such an integral part of this group of colleagues and was truly one of a kind.
We are comforted by knowing that Gene is in heaven now with his Lord.
Please let me know if there is any way that I can help.
In Prayer,
Bill Davis
