On Saturday, May 26, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Jung Wah Goon; mother of Susan (John) Chin, Arthur (Beatricia) Goon, Garry (Anna Mae) Goon, Janet (Alan) Yu. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Arcola Ave. and Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, June 6 at 11 am. Interment George Washington Cemetery. Dear Gu Ma,
Even though I did not get to know you well, I do know that you are a kind and loving person. When I first arrived in Maryland after graduating from college in New York, I stayed in an apartment in Takoma Park on Flowers Ave, which is just a few blocks from the Wah Gung Restaurant. I remember you treated me kindly at Wah Gung since you knew that I was new to the area and you wanted me to feel at home, and for that I am eternally grateful. I am sure you are in a much better place now and hopefully someday I hope we will be worthy enough to join you in the home of Our Father.

Da yee moo moo - I will always remember you wanting to cure all of my hurts with hed dat diu. My mom loved you dearly and you were an amazing grandma to all of your grandkids. We will miss you but see you again when there wont be a need for any het dat diu!! ? love you...

My sister has a special place in my heart. She has an unusual caring heart for others. I am grateful for her love,kindness and caring for me in my formative years. My life is also touched by her loving children I lived with for several years. I love is with you always !!
