On Sunday, October 23, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Harold Sweeney, Sr. and predeceased by son, Harold Sweeney, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, two sisters, a brother, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, October 26, 2011, from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment Norbeck Memorial Park. Dearest Ma,
You will always be close to my heart and I will always remember you for the home cooked holiday dinners and the warm hugs from you and Pop. Being the only Great grandmother I knew I am proud to share your green eyes and left-handedness. You will never be forgotten. RIP. I am glad to know that pop has someone to cook for him again up in Heaven. Love you always.

Dearest Ma: I have wonderful memories of you and Pop - your Thanksgiving meals to this day are the best I have ever had - also, you being generous to me as a child was greatly appreciated. I remember you taking me, my brother and my sister to buy our school clothes every year. I also remember how wonderfully clean and well put together your home always was! I am a neat freak - and think I got it from you. Rest in peace - lovely lady.
