On Friday, December 28, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Jane M. Kraus; father of Christine Sarich, Daniel J. (Diana) Kraus, Jr., Cathleen J. (Douglas) King, Gretchen (James) Vaseleck, Gregory W. (Roberta) Kraus, Jeffrey F. Kraus, Melissa A. (Gregory) Fean, and Martin F. (Craiglyn) Kraus. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Friday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment private. Sending our condolences and love to the entire Kraus family. We have the fondest memories of Mr. Kraus that took place throughout our childhood. I'm sure he will be greatly missed!

Dear Jane,Christine,Danny, Cathleen, Gretchen, Greg, Jeff, Melissa and Martin,
So sorry to hear of Danny's passing, we Collins' remember all of you fondly. We lived so close, you on Kayson, ours on Janet Rd. We all went to St. Catherine's grade school and Dad and Danny were FBI agents together. Many fond memories of our childhood and adulthood revolve around the neighborhood and Catholic school and church. Our deepest sympathy to you, Jane and the children.
