To my dear friend David:
No words can express my sorrow.
Gone too soon ... or simply gone... When we look at the sky we would like to think that they are looking at us. Often we remember them ... morning ... afternoon ... or at night, watching the stars ...in a special date... a song ... a smell ...and then we just miss them and wish they were here.

Dear Elisa, Ray and Key.
My prayers go aut to you at this time of sorrow. David was gone to soon. We know that, David is in a better place! There is no suffering and pain, Dr's and nurses, medications and machines. He is free from all of those things.
David you are missed here, but your memory will be forever in our hearths. You are now with your Criator, surrouded by those you loved who have proceded you on this jouney. We will meet again.

Beijos,
Ana

Love is stronger than death. No matter how hard death tries it can't separate my heart from yours. It can't take away my memories either. Thank you for the years we spend together, for your support, you care and your love. I will always love you and you will be in my heart forever. (me)

To David's wife, relatives, loved ones and friends,
My sincere sympathies for our loss of Dave. He was a truly unique person. He and I worked together at the National Library of Medicine for more than 5 years. He treated his customers and co-workers with a friendly respect and a relaxed manner.Whether it was cooking hamburgers and hot dogs in the rain for his co-workers or just stopping by the office to say hello, he was always a friendly face ready to joke with us. He will be missed by his "family" at the National Library of Medicine.

Dear Elisa and Mr and Mrs. Robinson
I remember the first time i met David and Elisa, they were soo welcoming me to their house it was in 2005 and it was Elisa`s birthday, since then i was always invited to their house and every time i was there i felt soo good to be around them, we had soo much fun at all the parties we had been at David`s and Elisa`s house, and i remember that David was very happy having all his friends around. So i will always remember my dear friend David.
It is a great loss to have david gone so soon he was a great friend and it is a very sad and unfortunate event to have him go so soon. Both David and Elisa have been always very friendly and kind hearted since we first met at their christmas party. All of the events have been wonderful and fun and David's presence will truely be missed. We know how happy David was to have all his friends around and how it did feel great to be around David and Elisa too. I will always remember my friend David. We are very sorry for you Elisa, and David's parents Kay and Ray as well.

Gone too soon, my thoughts and prayers go out to Elisa, Kay and Ray.Losing a loved one is a pain; so high, you can't get over it. So low, you can't get under it. So wide you can't get around it. You must go through that door. Keep the faith Kay; I know you will meet him again.

Dear Elisa, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson
I got to know Dave over the many years that he sat in my division's suite here at Democracy Two serving stints providing expert technical support. Dave knew everything about computers and so many other subjects, and he thoughtfully shared his knowledge with all. Not only did our division have this working relationship, but friendships formed and we enjoyed Dave's presence each day he was with us. From our friendship we learned of his great love for his family, friends and his "kids" Sparky and Chase. Dave will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to you at this time of sorrow. Cheryl White

I was shocked and greatly saddened to hear the news of David's passing. I've known David since junior high school. Even though the years and the miles had come between us I always thought David was an all around good guy with a kind heart. I was glad that we were able to reconnect via Facebook. To the Robinson family, please accept my sincerest sympathies and know that you are in my prayers.

Very sorry for your loss. I have known David from back in elementary school and played over at his house. We have been out of touch for many years, but he was a great person. We had actually just reconnected not long ago on Facebook. I am still in shock. David, you will be missed.

You fought a good fight and I'm sorry it ended like this. Christmas, New Years, Independence Day, are a few of the holidays with which your face is synonymous. Truthfully I don't know if they will ever be the same. Thanks for always opening your home to us all and being so good. There is now a huge void where stood, David. We will miss you.

May Christ support us all the day long,
till the shadows lengthen,
and the evening comes,
and the busy world is hushed,
and the fever of life is over
and our work is done.
Then in his mercy
may he give us a safe lodging,
and holy rest and peace at the last.

Elisa, Kay, and Ray.
We watched David grow up to become a fine young man and loving husband. We recall his joy in fishing, building his boat, and becoming a Ham Radio operator and computer wiz. He was very kind to our sons. When he included them in fishing ventures, we trusted him and knew they were in safe hands. We will miss David.
