On Sunday, July 22, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late M. James Raymond; mother of Jeanne Fineran, Peter (Patty), Dennis (Marsha), and Robert Raymond; grandmother of Edward and John Fineran, Timothy, Matthew, Katherine, Joseph, James and the late Betsy Raymond. Also survived by four great-grandchildren, Benjamin Fineran, Garrett, Tyler, and Colton Raymond and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) on Wednesday, July 25, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette's Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD on Thursday July 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. To the Raymond Family,
Dona was a beautiful person who loved life and living
it to the fullest. She loved her family above all. I will always remember and cherish our outings and the great times we had together. She was my best friend and I will miss her terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all; that you find comfort in your memories.

As a friend of Dennis and Bob, I spent many hours in the Raymond household on St. Lawrence Drive back in the '60's and '70's. What a wonderful time we had. I will always appreciate the many kindnesses that Mrs. Raymond extended to me, and I will always remember her as a warm, generous, and vigorous person.
