DONALD DAVE TOMAYKO (Age 70)
On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Carole Tomayko; father of Dr. Mary Tomayko (Dr. Kumar Navaratnam) of New Haven, CT, Collette Bunning (Bradley) of Washington, DC and David Tomayko (Dr. Ming) of Ellicott City, MD; brother of Laura Tomayko and Margaret Olszewski. Predeceased by brother, Kenneth Tomayko. Also survived by grandchildren, Suthi, Swarna, Paul, Gitanjali, Amy and Caroline and goddaughter, Natalie. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. The family is grateful for the outstanding care of Dr. Julie Brahmer and team at The Sydney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. I also worked with Don at White Oak during the 80s and he was always a kind and thoughtful person. God bless you all and I will remember you in my prayers.

Dear Carole, Mary, Collette & David,
I am so saddened to hear of Don's passing.
For nearly all of my life, Don was a constant true friend and anchor for my father as Carole continues to be for my mother. He will be missed so much by me and my family.
My family and I will be praying that strength, peace, and comfort be with each one of you and your families through this sad time.

To Carole and Don's children, spouses and grandchildren: very sorry to learn of Don's passing. Have not seen Don for a long time, but growing up in New Haven, I do have many fond memories.
