Karen, Mark, and Keith, and Family, Aunt Dot is a beautiful person and she's now an Angel in Heaven. Ever since a youth, I have admired Aunt Dot. She and my Mom both were such beautiful dark-haired and dark-eyed Italian women with stunning complexions. Because both sisters were extremely close, our families were always together celebrating big holidays, if not at Aunt Dot's (your home), then at my Mom's home. One of my earliest memories of being really happy was when I was about 5 or 6 and staying at your house. During one of my first stays, Aunt Dot taught me to say a prayer I have remembered all my life; and, as a youth, when I felt afraid, I'd always say the prayer. The prayer was to "My Guardian Angel". The words were: "Angel of God, my Guardian Dear, to whom His love commits me here. Ever this night, please be at my side to light and guard to rule and guide. Amen." Aunt Dot was a true "Godmother" to me in lots of ways. Whenever, we visited during the summer, your home was filled with children/youth. Aunt Dot truly adored being surrounded by her children and the friends of her children and relatives. The door to your home was always open and Aunt Dot's genuine smile instantly welcomed everyone and made them feel at home. One of the most striking qualities of Aunt Dot was that she was filled with love and compassion to all. Aunt Dot allowed my Mom and the three youngest of us sisters to stay at your home for many months during the transitioning from our move from Florida back about 1980. While this was such a generous thing to do in and of itself, while staying at your home, I witnessed Aunt Dot in one of greatest acts of Christian kindness I have seen, yet it was something she had been doing frequently and continued to for many years. Aunt Dot opened her home to an old friend whom had become homeless and was suffering from mental illness. Aunt Dot humbly let her old friend come in her home and shower and helped her with very basic needs, whenever the friend would come by. Aunt Dot treated her with an awesome respect, warmth, and friendliness. Aunt Dot was a hard-working and dedicated worker and always stayed extremely close to those she had worked with. Aunt Dot loved everyone and cared about everyone. Aunt Dot was filled with humor too! She will be deeply missed until all of our souls see her again in Heaven. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel, her name is Dorothy. May the Lord bring all of you and your entire family much strength during this very difficult time and know that you are loved. You have a new Guardian Angel named Dorothy in Heaven who will watch over all of you. Love, your cousin, Brenda

Karen, Mark, Keith and families,
Words can not express how deeply saddened we are by the loss of your beloved Mother and our Mrs. Heinrich. Your Mom will be in our hearts and memories forever. We are so grateful and blessed to have a Mrs. Heinrich in our lives. She will be greatly missed by us and all who knew her. We still and always will describe the house across the street as the Heinrichs house. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
