On Saturday, January 9, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late J. Robert Shea; mother of Carol Bondurant and Peggy Boyer; grandmother of Cathy Gilbert, Lisa Juillerat and David Boyer; great-grandmother of Caitlyn, Connor, Carson, Grace, Christian, Luke, Benjamin and Andrew; sister of Robert Hall and Dolores Kranking. Relatives and friends may call at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3799 East-West Highway, Hyattsville, MD 20782 on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 14 at 11 a.m. Private interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. So sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing, fond memories of times shared at the Gilbert's on Mother's Day. We know Grammie was one of the first to welcome her at Heaven's Gates, keep your memories close to you and be comforted in knowing that you will see each other again. Dorothy Shea was an amazing lady and will truly be missed by so many people. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this time.
We will think of her every time we decorate our christmas tree and hang our Silver Bells.
