On Monday, November 21, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Artillio Sapienza and Robert Depew; mother of Mark Sapienza and Lisa Razavi. Predeceased by five sisters and two brothers. Loving aunt of many devoted nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Resurrection at Riderwood Chapel, 3160 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, November 29 from 10 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Edith was a very wonderful and caring woman. She was a good friend to my uncle, Paul Gazdayka, and my aunt, Julia Tucker, who met her at Riderwood. I enjoyed talking with her and seeing how she lovingly cared for her sister, Anna.
