On Friday, September 6, 2013, of Olney, MD. Beloved husband of Kay Glazer; father of Karen Doepel, Kathy Smith (Carl), Daniel Golub (Hedy), and daughter-in-law Angela Golub. Predeceased by his son Steven Golub. Also survived by a sister Jill Verber and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment private. I was saddened to hear of "Fast Eddie's" passing. We met when he was selling his town home in Basalt, Co and as he was preparing to move back east with Toto to be closer to family. His kind, easy going manner was a great support and comfort to me as I contemplated my first real estate transaction. We closed within three weeks and although we were only brief acquaintances, our meeting launched us both forward on our life journeys. I can only imagine how much he will be missed by his family. I just wanted you to know that his legacy in Colorado lives on. Please accept my sincere condolence.

I am sorry to hear of the death of Edward Golub. He was the grandfather to my granddaughter, Tara Marie. I don't think he ever had the privilege of meeting her or seeing her. He missed alot. She has 5 beautiful children, 4 sons and 1 daughter. May he rest in peace!
