PENFIELD EDWARD J. PENFIELD (Age 86) On Tuesday, September 14, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Nettie N. Penfield; father of Josephine Demirkan (the late Ayhan), Edward Penfield (Karen), Mary Thornton (Nick), and Fr. Michael Penfield. Also survived by four grandchildren, Shannon, Gilbert, Edward, Sarah and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Alfred. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, September 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
