EDWARD T. SULLIVAN (Age 89)
On Friday, April 5, 2013, Edward T. Sullivan of Rockville, MD, formerly of Providence, RI. Beloved husband of the late Mary McArdle Sullivan; father of Mary Ellen (Michael) Hughes, John S. (Elisabeth) Sullivan, M.D., Edward T. (Constance) Sullivan, Jr., and the late Raymond Sullivan; grandfather of Sheila, Kathleen, Michael, Thomas, Graham, Lucas, Gavin and Christine. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, April 15, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fisher House Foundation, www.FISHERHOUSE.org.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

To all the Sullivans: We were so sorry to hear about Mr. Sullivan's passing -- but so moved, through the process, to learn more about the remarkable life he lived. The world is certainly better for having had him in it, and the gift of his example will live on, as it clearly already does, in his children and grandchildren. We are holding all of you close in prayer as you adjust to life without him in it. May he rest in peace.
