On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, of Seabrook, MD. Beloved wife of Joseph B. Mahon; mother of JoEllen Coughlin and Beth Paolucci; grandmother of Tommy, Chris, Joey, Kelly and Matt; great-grandmother of Tyler, Jackson, Chloe and Christopher; sister of Elsie Keiner, James and Ellwood Rinehimer. Also survived by her long-time caregiver, Nerissa Edmond. Funeral Service at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Sorry I couldn't attend the funeral. I'll always remember all of the visits we enjoyed, especially when you came to the farm and when we had scrapple and apple dumplings. Your sister, Elsie.

We have known each other so long. I can't imagine the loss the Mahon family is feeling at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. As with my Dad, I will remember Ellen is now in the beloved hands of our Lord. Peace to you all.

So very sorry to hear of Ellen's death. Fortunately,you all had spent many wonderful years together both before and after retirement and you are blessed with many dear children and grandchildren from those years.
