To the Walsh family, especially Jim, Sharon, Nick, Ben, and Cara, we send our love and support on the loss of your beloved Elsie. She was a great lady, kind, competent, and pleasant; wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Now she is at peace, and she will always be in our hearts.

Dear Walsh family, from Sheldon Gnatt on behalf of the Gnatt family across the street on Belvedere Blvd. (1960-1974?)
I remember your mother as a very kind and genuine, down-to-earth woman. There was always something going on at the Walsh home and always kids out in the yard. Your mother remained calm and unfazed by all the activity. She seemed not to sweat the small stuff and to get the important stuff just right. The Walshes epitomized decency and neighborliness and that must have come from the top -- both your dad and your mom. Our sympathies and warm thoughts to your entire family. -- Sheldon

To the Whole Walsh Family - I knew all of you when we were all kids and later as we grew up. I grew up at 1604. Your mom and dad were always so sweet to "most" of the neighborhood kids and we always had such a great time. I am very sorry for your loss - it is hard to come to terms with.
