Dear Irene and family,

We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family. It was always a pleasure seeing you and Ned at the Crilley family gatherings. Ned was a very kind and gentle person, and I know will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends. Sincerely,

My deepest sympathy to Ned's entire family. I enjoyed many hours in Ned's company at coffee and at lunch at the lab, on day trips to historic sites and lunches with him and Irene. He will be sorely missed.
May his soul and souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.
