On Monday, June 27, 2011, of Olney, MD. Beloved husband of Mary L. Pruitt; father of Julie Bernhard, Katrina Pruitt-Andrews and Ernest Pruitt, Jr.; grandfather of Sam, Katie, Emma and Holly. He will be missed by his cats, Lucy and Max. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
