On Thursday, January 12, 2012, of Rogersville, TN, formerly of Wheaton, MD. Beloved husband of the late Sally Ann Roark; father of Floyd D. "Danny" Roark, Jr.; grandfather of Danyel Roark and Stevan Fleegle, Jr.; great-grandfather of Diamond and Ariana; brother of Robert Allen Roark, Flossie Wright, Martha Dyer, Pearl Lawson, Lorraine Roark, Shirley Dagenheart and Bonnie Roark. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20 at 11 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Bethesda, MD. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

To all Danny's family and friends. I worked with Danny when he drove a cab and when he dispatched. Danny was the most intelligent and witty guy when he dispatched and when we still had only the microphone to dispatch. I'll never forget when he came on the mike and said, we have drivers at the airport that got in but can't find their way out, I got a good laugh and I'm sure other drivers did too. Danny was also a really good friend. I have missed him since he left Bethesda and will always miss him.
Danny, rest in peace. Love Ellen

Danny and Danyel, Our prayers go out to both at this sad time in your lives. Never forget how much your dad and papaw loved you both so very very much! You all were his whole life since he lost Sally! You guys make your Dad and Papaw proud! We love you so much and May God Bless.
