FRANCES KATHERINE CAPPELLETTI (Age 96)
On Friday, September 2, 2011,of Brookeville, MD. Beloved wife of the late Danilo Cappelletti; mother of Emma (Joaquin) Hangen, Giulio (Lorna) and John (Ann) Cappelletti. Also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, September 5, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD, on Tuesday, September 6, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Ones:
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. It was a gift and a blessing to have the opportunity to meet "Nonna" at Giulianna's and Peter's wedding. I will always remember her as the family photograph was about to be made at their wedding. When she couldn't convince others that she wanted to be standing for the portrait rather than sitting in a wheelchair, she switched from English to Italian! What spirit! What gumption! Joseph Danilo Gray is a lucky little boy to have her as his Great-Grandmother.
