On Sunday, August 11, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Margaret L. Ward; father of Margaret (Earl) Gamache, Daniel J. (Beth) Ward, Patricia (Terence) Ethridge, Robert J. (Sophia) Ward and the late Frank P. and Joseph P. Ward; grandfather of Brendan (Kristen) and Nicholas (Karen) Gamache, Joseph (Laura) Ward, Colleen (Bryan) Broomall, Lauren Ward, Colin and Katie (Brent Hudgens) Ethridge; great-grandfather of Cassie, Aidan, Ella, Claire and Jane Gamache, Riley, Mackenzie and Brady Ward, and Breanne Burroughs, Shane and Connor Broomall. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette's Church, 72 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, September 5 at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
