FRANK EUGENE MARCHONE
On Saturday, November 17, 2012, of Chester, MD. Beloved husband of Sandy Schiavelo Marchone; father of Darlene Marchone, Tina Marchone, Kristin Vess and Frank "Tony" Marchone. Also survived by seven grandchildren, five brothers and five sisters. Frank was the owner of Marchone's Italian Delicatessen, open since 1955. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, November 21 at 11 a.m. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - MD Chapter, 11350 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I remember Frank first from Bowling with Him, second from the Deli where I brought many a Roast Beef Sub and finally every time I pass over the Kent Island Bridge on my way back to Maryland, the times Frank would be at his Boat or just hanging out. Frank passed way to soon.

To say I am deeply saddened is an understatement. I've known Frank since 1949. Since that time he has been my friend, teammate, and my boss. But, most of all he was family. He was kind and generous and I will truly miss him and his sense of humor. My deepest sympathy goes out to Sandy, his children, and all of his brothers and sisters. There will be an empty chair at the holiday table this year, but it will be filled with loving memories.

I am truly saddened by Frank's death. Frank was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person and a cousin to us. He was always so kind and considerate to us that we always loved seeing him at every opportunity, especially in Key West.

Good ole Frank.....the fountain of knowledge....you will certainly be missed along the Broadwalk here in South Florida. Frank will always be remembered on Hollywood Beach. We always looked forward to seeing him and Sandy coming down for the season every year. He was a great guy and lots of fun to be around and we had many a great times together at the tiki. Our thoughts and well wishes go out to his family and we will always remember him in our hearts. We are so fortunate to have been touched by his wonderful personality and charm.
