On Tuesday, January 21, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte M. Bova; father of Tony, Tom, Mark, Tina, and Mike; brother of Lucille Neola and the late Rose Ford. Also survived by 16 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, January 28, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I have many fond memories of my Uncle Frank. I was always proud of his many accomplishments from a very early age. My grandma always bragged about him telling us how he built radios, served his country in the U.S. Navy, being a leader in his profession, and raising a beautiful family. His family is a great legacy to him as he and Aunt Charlotte spent time at the Bay, scouting, and participating in colonial reenactment events.
My prayer is that the Jesus Christ, the God of the Universe, comfort his children, grandchildren, and close friends that will miss him very much.
" May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word." (2 Thessalonians 2: 16,17)
