On Thursday, April 4, 2013 of Laurel, MD. Beloved son of the late Fred and Rita Lorentz; step son of the late Margaret Lorentz; husband of Veronica "Ronnie" Lorentz; father of Cathleen (Craig) Mascaro, Debbie (Mike) Parsons and Michael (Ezel) Lorentz; grandfather of Shelbe and Evan Mascaro, Sydney and Colin Parsons, Sibel and Michael Lorentz, Jr.; brother of the late William Lorentz and Mary Kay Lorentz. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 8300 Old Columbia Road, Fulton, MD, on Monday, April 8, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Burtonsville Union Cemetery. Ronnie, I was so sorry to hear of Fritz's passing. I have very fond memories of our past times together, whether it be at dinner, coversations on your back porch or my attempt to at least act like I knew what I was doing playing golf. He always had a smile on his face and kept us laughing. Am holding you and the family close in prayer. Love, Kathy B.

I don't know what else to say Ken and I are so sorry to hear about Fritz. We know he is in a better place without pain. He certainly left wonderful memories for Ken and I if you didn't have a smile on your face in his presents he made sure that he changed that quickly. We will always remember his sense of humor, generosity and love of his family. God Bless all of you.
