FRITZ OTTO NAECKER (Age 63)
On Wednesday, July 4, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved son of Samuel Otto Naecker and the late Barbara Lee Lohr; brother of Wesley (Terry) Naecker, Laura (Rich) Roemer and Bekki (Glen) McMakin; uncle of Dyllan, Jenna and Paige; Also survived by many loving family members and friends. All funeral services and interment will be Private. Dear Naecker Family,
May God comfort you in your loss. I happened to find this today when I "Googled" Fritz Otto Naecker. I was shocked! I am so sorry to hear about his mom passing too. Will never forget all the great times I had with you all
while growing up in Takoma Park, Dundalk Rd. That was the best memories.
Fritz was such a great buddy. We had lots of fun with the crowd there. Fritz, Wes and I loved those model cars. Those boating memories are great too! I remember Mr. Naecker (Sonny) building the Ahab the arab hydroplane in the basement. The slot car track was so cool too. What a great Dad and Mom you had! I enjoyed being at your house more than mine! Fritz got me hooked on motorcycles and cars too.
He took me for a ride (he got his license 1st). Thinking back though, he may not have had one. It was that old fender less Hog. Then there was the old flathead six gray 50 Ford. I couldn't believe it would catch rubber in 2nd gear! I was a bad influence on him, I know. I remember when I got arrested for throwing firecracker's at
Kathy Lay's window!
Well Fritz had a big influence on me.
I have spent most of my money on cars,
boats, and motorcycles......the rest I just wasted....
I miss you all!

Fritz and I spent time together many many years ago when we were both so young. The first picture in the gallery is exactly how I remember him. Even though we lost touch so many years ago, my heart hurts to hear of his passing. I only have good memories of him and treasure our time together. My condolences to all of his family.

There are some people which hold a special place in your mind in otherwise turbulent teen-aged years of high school.
Fritz Naecker was one of those special people.
I am so sorry that I could not have been available to help him in some fashion. He will always be remembered fondly.

I remember when you lent us your pickup truck and motorcycle trailer so we could travel to Sturgis for our honeymoon. Your generosity, kindness, and gentle spirit will always be in our hearts. Sad to see you go, but we'll catch up again for a laugh or too on the other side. I guess you are hanging out with that cute little Bison Friche again, huh?

Fritz was a gentle lamb. Our friend is at rest. I will keep in my memories his greeting, "How ya doin darling." His wonderful laugh..none of us will forget that. He was there for everyone.
