GARRY THOMAS ROURKE (Age 69)
Of Potomac, MD, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Beloved husband of Sharen Rourke; loving father of Shannon Rourke Devens (Billy) and Jennifer Rourke Walloch (Justin); devoted grandfather of Will and Georgia Devens and Mia and Luke Walloch; loving brother of Sheila Davis, Dennis Rourke and Kathy Erickson. A Memorial Service will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Nat'l Capital Area Chapter, 3701 Pender Drive, Suite 400, Fairfax, VA 22030.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Sharen & family,
We were saddened to hear today of Garry's passing. He was such a cut-up in college and I will never forget all the happy times we had at MJC. We are here in Florida now and will be thinking of you on Monday. Concentrate on the times that once held such happiness, promise and dreams for the future. How quickly it has passed also. God be with you.

Garry was one of the nicest people I ever knew. There are so many good memories of him it would be hard to pick a favorite. He was a dear friend and will be missed.
