On Thursday, August 4, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Marilyn H. Brunetti; father of Mark S. Brunetti; son of Francis and Katherine Brunetti; brother of Diane E. (Carl D.) Koontz and David F. (James R. Rzepka) Brunetti. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Tuesday, August 9 from 12 to 1 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. So many years have passed, but it seems like only yesterday that your dad left us. Miss him and, of course, your mom too. I have been calling Gary's house since I got back from Europe. Since nobody called me back, I thought to google his name. So sorry he went so soon. My thoughts are with the family, especially Mark. At least we had some good times at the beach the last two years. Hope Gary's soul is at peace.

Mark,your Dad was certainly one of a kind. He had a unique wit and easy going way but he always told it like it was. His family meant the world to him. I hope you get to enjoy some "summer road trips". Remember to "live in the moment". Gary is now at peace and he is watching over you and your Mom. My deepest condolences.

Dear Mark, Diane and entire Brunetti family,
We are deeply saddened by your dad's, brother's and son's death. Gary and I had spoken throughout his illness and I only hope that those conversations brought him some comfort. Living in Florida and not being able to be with you all at this difficult time has been a terrible burden to shoulder. Please know that David and Michael also share in this sorrow. Diane, you may not remember me,but I was Marilyn's roommate and in your brother's and Marilyn's wedding. Mark, you have our phone number, so please call us anytime.
