My sincere sympathy to the family.I can say that if George Greene never came to my house in Kenilworh to ask me to join the Ivakota program in 1963 I would not be the person I am today. he taught me a great deal about becoming a leader. He placed a great deal of responsibity on me at a young age. Later I got to head up the camps I LOVED, Pleasant, Moss Hollow. We both had a love of the out of doors, so he helped me with that. our club 15 boys who loved Ivakota, was the Nature Explorers of NE DC. George Greene personally gave up his time to help me become a better person, I will continue to work hard to see that his dreams for Camp Moss Hollow are fulfilled. Thank You George, Michael Shirley, High School Teacher Crossland and Site Director, Camp Moss Hollow.
