I practically grew up in the Peet house. I remember myself and the Peets piling in the station wagon and going to the Burtonsville fireworks on the 4th of July. George and Mary Carol always welcomed me into their home. So sad to hear George passed, but I am comforted by knowing he is at peace.

I remember Uncle George picking me up from the airport when I came for a visit and I experienced his D.C. driving skills for the first time, along with his humor! I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know him. My parents picked a good man to be my Godfather. My heart breaks for all of you but he's in good company now with my Mom the match maker. May he rest in peace.
