GERALD KEELING CASSIDY (Age 89)
On Sunday, September 8, 2013, of Bethesda and Easton, MD. Beloved husband of the late Jane Short Cassidy; father of Dennis Cassidy (Margaret), Kathleen McGarry (Wallace), Cecelia Cassidy Haus (Greg), Mari McCord (Edward), Megan Barber (Gary), Andrew Cassidy (Susan), Brendan Cassidy (Barbara), Thomas Kenny Cassidy (Paula) and the late Patrick Cassidy (Alison); brother of Alan Cassidy (the late Sally Ann), Janet Casey (Paul), the late Margie Murray (the late Frank), Elizabeth Gilday (the late Thomas), and the late Bert Cassidy (Esther). Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Western Ave. at Quesada St. NW, Washington, DC on Friday, September 13, at 12 noon, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Interment Private. I just heard about Mr. Cassidy's passing. My heart goes out to all of the Cassidys. Mr. Cassidy was a great man and a huge positive infuence on so many people. I wish you all well and hope you take solice that Mr Cassidy and Mrs. Cassidy will be looking over all from Heaven.
