My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Griesbauer family during this sorrowful time. I worked with Chip thirty years ago at B&TTIPF and then again at GCIU when he asked me to fill in while his assistant was out. He was undoubtedly the nicest boss a person could have. He taught me many things during our time working together, not the least of which was to be compassionate towards others and to always make someone feel that they are truly special. For years after we worked together, I called him on his birthday and by the time our conversation ended, I always felt as if I had been the one who had been remembered. I will always remember his sense of humor, love of fellow man, and that great smile. Rest in peace Chip.

We've known Chip as neighbor and friend since we moved to the Bel Pre neighborhood decades ago. Our hearts go out to the family on his loss. One of many of his qualities can be summed up by this observation: whenever we would see Chip, Sue and family in a restaurant or other gathering place,no matter how large a crowd was there Chip would make it a point to greet us both individually and ask about our welfare and how our family was getting along. He was a gentleman in the true sense of the term-- a gentle man. Our prayers are with the family.

In the short time that I did work with Chip in Washington, it was clear that he was an exceptional man with extraordinary talents – I’m sure that there is an angel caring over him into the after life and that Chip will continue to do his special work on behalf of all of us here remaining – Condolences and sympathy to Sue and the family during these difficult times – He will be truly missed . . .

Kris and I have always known there was something special about the Griesbauer family. Direction starts from the top. Chip and Sue raised 3 incredible men---that takes devotion, hard work and lots of love. We will never forget how great Chip was to Scott this past year. With all that he was going through, Chip would always talk to Scott whenever he wandered by. Kris and I are so very thankful for having had Chip as a part of our family's life.
