GERTRUDE J. KERNER
On Thursday, July 21, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Alger V. Kerner; mother of Joseph (Donna) Kerner, Teresa (Steve) Walker, Richard (Mary) Kerner, Patricia (James) Hamilton, Susan (Minor) Appleman, Charles (Celeste) Kerner and the late John and Dorothy Kerner; sister of Bernard (Marilyn) Kober; sister-in-law of Morgan Kerner and Eugene Hamilton. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass at Resurrection at Riderwood Chapel, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Saturday, July 30 at 12 noon. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Bishop Claggett Center, P.O. Box 40, Buckeystown, MD 21717.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

So sorry of Gertude's passing. I have fond memories of the Al and his
wife. My wife and I spent many visits and trips with them. Al and I worked together in the same office. She and Al will be greatly missed.
