GRETCHEN MAUREEN WEICHBROD (Age 33)
On Wednesday, December 19, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved daughter of Robert H. and Kathleen Gallagher Weichbrod; sister of Erin Weichbrod (Raul) Carrillo, Luke Colin Weichbrod and the late Rory Joseph Weichbrod; aunt of Noah and Joseph Carrillo; granddaughter of Mary C. Gallagher. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Friday, December 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 22, at 11 am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Led by the Spirit Campaign at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or www.rorysunfinishedbusiness.orgwww.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Dear Weichbrod family,
Words can not convey the sympathy felt for your loss. Gretchen was such a sweet, wonderful and special person. The world would be a better place if more were like her! She was a blessing to all who had the opportunity to know her.
I know she will be missed dearly but she will always be close to you in your hearts. She is with Rory and your 2 angels will watch over all of you and guide you with their love.

It is so hard to find the words to express my deepest of sympathies to you all. Gretchen was so lucky to have all of you in her life. Kathy,Rob,Erin and Luke & extended family. Just letting you know that I was shocked to hear that Gretchen had passed away. As I had mention in the first sign in for her. Gretchen was always kind to her friends but, also very sweet to her family. I just wished I had more time to get to know such a kind person -She was only 33 so young nearly 34 which is my age. If you and your family need anything I'm there for you . I'm sorry that I was unable to attend her wake. Rest in peace and be among the heavenly angels . Cause you are an angel.

Gretchen was a beloved volunteer at the White Oak Library. She was always a willing worker and was dedicated to completing whatever assignment she was given. Her passing has left us shocked and saddened. We will miss her greatly. Our most sincere condolences to her family in this time of grief.
