Gus, I knew you many years ago, through your beautiful son John. Unfortunately, our paths never crossed again later in life. It was an honor to know you. You always had uplifting words, kind compliments, and a loving smile for me. You always made me feel at home, always welcoming, and gave me a sense of belonging. For a sometimes lost teenage girl, those things were priceless. And for all that I am thankful. You were a great man, a loving father, and you're memory will live on in all who knew and loved you. John, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish to have been there with you today, please know I was so, in spirit. Your Father’s legacy lives on in you. Love, Maria Gabriela
