On Monday, March 28, 2011, of Silver Spring, MD. Adored husband of the late Ellen Patricia Kraemer; loving father of Ellen Pat (Walter) Chahanovich, John Michael (Betsy Diane) Kraemer and Catherine Ann Kraemer-Dale; caring grandfather of John Michael and Michael David Kraemer, Walter Scott, Kelly Christine, Alexander Brian and Victoria Diane Chahanovich and Nicole Elise Dale; great-grandfather of Natalie Anne Kraemer. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Friday, April 1, 10:30 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The Family,
I became a friend of Gus late in our lives--after we moved to Leisure World. We spent much time discussing the politics of our dwelling place and what we could do to improve it. I had such a discussion with him just ten days ago. He frequently talked of how my brother Dr. Joe McDonald helped he and your mother raise you.
I'm sure Ellen and he are happy together in their new life. We all miss them. My prayers are with you.

Ellen Pat, John, Cathy, and family,
Though it has been too many years since I have seen Uncle Gus he and Aunt Ellen are always in my heart. They were a huge part of my growing up years and I remember them with much love and fondness. I am sorry for your sadness and will keep you in my prayers.

Gus hired me to work for his department in 1983. He was a wonderful man and a conscientious boss. He will never be forgotten.
