Cant believe that this giant of a man has been gone from us for this long. I considered him a best friend. He was the admiral of the queens navy (Laurie knows what I mean) . Hope you are all well and thriving. God bless you! Frank Salamone

Harry and I became friends from the first time we met. He had the energy of a nuclear device and the loyalty of the great american that he was. Not long after we met , Harry took me to his home where he and Pat would make me feel at home. He knew I missed my family. And Pat would make a great Italian dinner for us. As I said earlier, I knew and loved this guy for 47 years and will never forget him or the silly jokes we shared. I'm sure he is keeping God well entertained. Best to Laurie, Deb, and Richard. You all came from a wonderful pair.

Dear Debbie, Laurie, & Richard- I'm so sorry for your loss, and wish I could be with you at this time. Many of us are feeling his loss along with you. Harry was a very special man. He had such an influence in my life just by being himself; he had a zest for life, and he shared it generously with anyone he met. He and your mother included me in the warmth and hospitality of your family...what a gift! Some of the best years of our lives were spent with the two families together enjoying one another and life!

God bless...

Debbie, Richard, Laurie... Words cannot begin to express my feelings on the loss of your dad. How does one capture in words what the Cissels and Whittlesey's mean to each other? It seems impossible.

Your dad and mom; my mom and dad...the "fantastic four" for over 50 years. We, their respective children, reaped the benefits of their long lasting friendship. They showed us what it meant to be a true and loyal friend.

Vacations in Ocean City; Herald Harbor aka "the beach", Easter Sunday clothes itching due to fiberglass; laughing, laughing, laughing; day trips with kids crammed into cars; Boundary Avenue; your dad walking into my dad's hospital room at critical times...always reassuring me everything would be OK and he was always right.

The loss of your dad weighs heavy but his light shines on in countless memories. The "fantastic four" is once again all together. And in the midst of your grief I hope you can find some solace knowing Harry, Pat, Whit and Jean are once again together.

May God bless Harry...an angel amongst us.

Love to all,

Julie Whittlesey Elie

We are sorry for your loss. Harry, Dicky and I were first cousins and played together as boys on Silver Spring and Boundary Avenues. As an adult he was always ready with a good joke. He will be missed. Love, Bernie (Mike) and Diane Garrison

Great picture of Harry. He was rarely without that twinkle in his eye or that devilish grin. Harry was a man who enjoyed every moment and brought joy and happiness to others. Russ and I are sorry to hear of his death...his life journey is over and now time to reunite with his beloved and keep the angels laughing!
Laurie you are an inspiration with your love and devotion.
