HEATHER MARY GRACE HORAN GARRETT (Age 34)
On Tuesday, June 28, 2011, of Columbia, MD, formerly of Woodbine, MD. Beloved daughter of JoAnne and Leonard Horan; sister of Bridgette Tobiassen (Brett), and Leonard Horan, Jr. (Mariana); granddaughter of Anna Peninger and the late Luke Peninger; loving fiancée of Cavan Roy. Also survived by five nephews, former husband, Doug Garrett, and other loving family and friends. She will also be missed by her loving canine companion, Hunter. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, July 1, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD, on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I am at a loss for words at a time such as this. Heather took me under her wing as a freshman cheerleader at Glenelg and I will always remember her. Please except my deepest condolensces to the family. She passed way before her time and my sympathy, strength, thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was very saddened to learn about Heather. She was a classmate of mine from Lisbon Elementary thru Glenelg High where we both graduated in 1994.
